Once again a large portion of the global cashless system has crashed, creating massive problems for people who want to buy and sell anything. It’s the 19th of July 2024 and in my UK city there are banks, shops, cafes, and other places of business that can’t transact due to a ‘glitch’ in the cashless payment system. The UK is not the only one affected by this ‘outage’. It’s a global problem that has prevented companies from trading across the planet, airlines, payments of benefits for those who need financial support from their government, purchasing food and drink, restaurants, and pretty much everything else has been hit hard. When I see this happening it simply demonstrates how fragile and vulnerable this method of payment can become, taking just one problem spreading through the network, in a matter of seconds.
Today, when visiting shops, I could hear people complaining about not being able to buy, or business owners not being able to sell, due to this technical error, forcing cash-only payments. It seems, after witnessing most people walking away from the checkouts (some not even entering buildings when seeing cash only signs), that most don’t carry, or use, cash these days. I always carry a small amount of cash just to keep it alive (for now) and for situations such as the problems experienced by millions today. Eventually cash will be gone, it’s what the governments want. From Bible study, I believe the system we are seeing creep into our world is linked to the mark of the beast described in Revelation, chapter 13.
I have already written an article about the subject, which you can find on this website (look up: Mark of the Beast, and digital currency) but today I wanted to highlight, in a shorter article, just how susceptible we are when payment technology fails. When the Beast system is fully operational and nobody can use cash, they will be trapped in a cashless digital surveillance state, one that you cannot be part of without taking this mark. You can see here what this prophecy has to say regarding being included, or not, when it comes to buying or selling: Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. This applies to those who are rich or poor, free or bond (it’s worth you reading the entire chapter to see what else is promised in this prophecy).
Imagine that once this digital cashless system arrives, the entire system is down for a 24 hour period; bad for some, maybe a small inconvenience for others. But imagine the down-time extends to a few days, weeks, months… By the way, you can no longer use cash anywhere, it’s outlawed. Soon after this period most people would become desperate, when running out of food and water, there would be loss of power to homes and businesses, hospitals, no utilities would operate or function, transportation would fail so deliveries of any supply of any thing would be near to impossible; maybe there would be limited military rations, but these would not last forever. Faced with starvation mass panic would likely ensue, leading up to where society would collapse, after massive civil unrest (with likely Marshall Law being enforced). It could be possible that such an event will be staged (a false flag), to introduce the beast system. Later on would come an offer, a solution to the problem created on purpose, by the governments. Many would welcome taking the mark if it meant being able to transact, to feed their families and see a return to what was ‘normality’. This scenario could become a reality and is the danger billions do not seem to recognise. They are told going cashless is convenient, it’s a lie. Most don’t see this problem is staring them right in the face, it’s likely because Satan has made the idea seem unbelievable.
Bible prophecy never changes, and it cannot be prevented so eventually Satan will get his way where this mark of the beast is concerned. If people are in a panic today, imagine those when they are faced with taking the mark or not, it’s easy to understand why the majority will take the mark just to survive. Any Christian who understands the seriousness of taking the mark will avoid it, leaving them completely cut out of society; not being able to transact. For those who take the mark, they will likely be subjected to all sorts of blackmail to remain ‘functioning’ inside the system.
In short, the prophecy relates to the last days of human rulership; the end times. All the signs are here now, and these payment ‘glitches’ are mere demonstrations of how easy it is to trap people where money is concerned, these tests are very likely the leading up to the mark of the beast being rolled out very soon.
Anyone who wants to survive what Satan throws at us can make a choice: Either repent of their sins and turn to God; or doubt the Bible and the existence an intelligent loving Creator and suffer the consequences. We can trust in God as he promises: Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I’ll help you.” No humans are going to look out for those trapped in the beast system, Satan will be pulling all the strings and he does not care about anyone but himself. It’s only in God we can trust, He’s all we have in this fallen world.
