God says that in the final days, there will be earthquakes in one place after another. The scriptures explain this as something that will happen towards the end of human rule, when God is about to return. For example, we can see that in Matthew Chapter 24, verse 7, it reads: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and EARTHQUAKES (added capitol letters for emphasis), in divers places.
Many Bible skeptics will argue that we know about these earthquakes today because the technology to measure them exists; but they miss a very important point. Yes, it’s true that we do have the instruments to measure and record earthquakes and their magnitudes, and to make sense of the data there are qualified seismologists AKA ‘Earth Scientists’ who specialise in geophysics and study the genesis and propagation of seismic waves in geological material, but that still does not dismiss the scriptures that foretold these events just over two thousands years ago. The Apostles did not own such equipment, and it’s very likely they had no knowledge on how to map out the entire planet to record earthquakes. But Jesus did know, and even explained the signs of the times of when these things would occur; along with the other tribulations that would coincide with these earthquakes.
As always, the Bible was way ahead of modern scientists, once again proving that prophecy always delivers what God has promised, without fail.

It’s a very interesting website, with lots to learn, but more importantly it demonstrates the fact that scripture from thousands of years ago warned in advance that we’d witness these earthquakes during our time.
